  • History

The club started sometime in the mid 1970’s, but no one in the club was a member so long ago to know exactly when.

There have always been teams and a competitive spirit within the club as well as a friendly side that, hopefully, has encouraged those with some badminton skills to develop. The club and its members have won various competitions over the years.

People who join tend to stay for a very long time, and there are several members  who have been with the club over 10 years. But there are new members and regular visitors who have come to the club nights recently, and this trend is being encouraged as much as possible.
